. If I were to place a 2A 125V pico fuse in front of the regulator would that protect my circuit ? Or would the fuse be too slow to work ?Thanks

Pico fuse to protect reverse power
I've blown several of the 5V 1A regulators with a power supply connection that was reversed . If I were to place a 2A 125V pico fuse in front of the regulator would that protect my circuit ? Or would the fuse be too slow to work ?
